Unicorn Ceilidhs are returning to Baldock for the first dance of the new season.
The dance will be held on Friday, September 13, with music by Hampshire-based band Jigfoot and dances called by Tom Gregory.
Jigfoot play traditional dance tunes with the melodeon, two fiddles, the cello and the guitar.
Tom Gregory was raised by folk dancing parents and has been dancing since before he can walk, joining his first ceilidh band at the age of 12.
As well as being a popular ceilidh caller, Tom is also a director of Southampton-based Folk Active.
Ceilidhs are lively, energetic and upbeat versions of English barn dancing, suitable for all ages.
Dancers are welcome to attend on their own, in couples or in a group, and do not need to have experience in ceilidh dancing to take part.
Tickets are available online at www.unicornceilidhs.org.uk, and cost £13 for adults with concessions for children, students and seniors.
