A driver has had his car seized by police in Stevenage after officers stopped him driving and discovered he had no insurance.
A spokesperson for the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit explained: "The insurance policy on this vehicle had been cancelled by the insurance company. The policy holder had been emailed, but had missed it. No excuse I am afraid."
The car was seized and the driver reported.
