Pubs across Hertfordshire are currently looking for new tenants to take the reins.
Several popular boozers across the county are seeking out new management, with website Find My Pub providing listings for would-be custodians.
We've rounded up seven pubs that could soon be under new management.
1. The Fleur De Lys/ The Snug - St Albans
This Grade II-listed building is on the market, representing an attractive proposition for anyone looking to take over a pub.
Best known to locals as the Fleur De Lys, the French Row watering hole has been part of chain The Snug since a takeover in 2007.
The pub is listed as being available with ingoing costs of £11,525 and an annual rent of £43,000.
2. The Wheatsheaf - Harpenden
Located just a five minute walk from the train station, The Wheatsheaf has plenty of upside for budding landlords.
Following recent investment, the pub is looking for new management to take advantage of its "fantastic atmosphere" and serve food and drink to up to 160 patrons.
The listing describes The Wheatsheaf as a perfect setting for live music or to enjoy major sporting events.
It is currently listed as being available with ingoing costs of £10,775 and an annual rent of £40,000.
3. The Fox and Hounds - Rickmansworth
This popular boozer is on the market with owners Stonegate Group seeking a new tenant.
The listing describes it as a “traditional town pub” with a range of cask ales, premium beer and a good wine selection.
It adds that the pub appeals to “a more mature customer base” in the “highly affluent area” and says the large beer garden, capable of seating 60 people, is its unique selling point in the busy town centre area.
Running it would require a £17,750 deposit and £68,000 in annual rent.
4. The Estcourt Arms, Watford
Located close to Watford station, The Estcourt Arms remains on the hunt for a long-term tenant.
After closing last November, the St Johns Road establishment re-opened in January, albeit on a short-term lease.
Owners Heineken are still looking for a permanent tenant, with the listing remaining online.
The pub could be yours for a deposit of £11,244 and annual rent of £20,939.
5. The Bucks Head, Little Wymondley
This early 17th century pub is located just two minutes from the A1(M), part of the village of Little Wymondley between Hitchin and Stevenage.
The listing says that the pub "is in good condition throughout and comprises two small bar areas, a conservatory restaurant, and a further room at the back."
With a large beer garden, the listing goes on to say that the site "has scope to become a major attraction for the pub."
The pub is available with ingoing costs of £5,025 and an annual rent of £17,000.
6. The Sheldan Inn, Welwyn Garden City
Having undergone a refurbishment last year, The Sheldan Inn is described by marketers as presenting an "exciting opportunity".
The Sheldan is a family-friendly pub offering food all day, TV sports, and regular live entertainment.
The listing boasts that new tenants would have a new function room and a new purpose-built commercial kitchen at their disposal.
It's available for a £13,000 deposit with an annual rent of £22,500.
7. The Peacock , St Albans
The Peacock offers potential tenants "a fantastic opportunity with a lot to offer" according to its listing.
Based in an attractive location on Hatfield Road, the pub benefits from plenty of footfall.
The Peacock is available with ingoing costs of £9,525 and an annual rent of £35,000.
