A major road connecting Stevenage and Walkern will be closed later this week due to work performed by Affinity Water.
Stevenage Road will be closed from tomorrow (August 20) and Friday (August 23).
The road will be closed full time while works are carried out, with access provided for residents.
A statement on Hertfordshire Highways website reads: "We are carrying out essential work to maintain the resilience of our infrastructure with fewer disruptions.
"If there's any additional information on this work, it will be updated in "Information for Residents."
Delays are likely and motorists are advised to take alternative routes via Fairlands Way in Stevenage.
