The opening date for Hitchin's new street food restaurant The Shack has finally been announced.
Serving up burgers, chicken wings and tenders, grilled sandwiches and Sunday roasts, the business is moving into 32 Sun Street after months of renovation work.
Now, the owners have The Shack have confirmed the restaurant will finally be opening on tomorrow (Tuesday, August 6).
In January this year, signs appeared in the window of the former Deroka unit, teasing the opening of The Shack, but in May, The Shack revealed in an Instagram post that the opening had been delayed by a "whole load of setbacks".
"After months of planning and facing a whole load of setbacks, things are finally moving forward," the post read.
The Shack already has two restaurants in Biggleswade and Barton, and they are looking forward to opening their third site.
