A man has been charged with attempted murder after a 69-year-old was stabbed in Stevenage.
Lewis Kendrick, of Cuttys Lane, has been charged with attempted murder, possession of a bladed article in a public place and breaching a restraining order, following the incident on Sunday (July 28).
He has been remanded into custody and will appear at Hatfield Remand Court this morning (July 30).
The incident occurred near the underpass by Asda, with a 69-year-old man suffering knife inflicted wounds.
The victim continues to recover in hospital at this time.
