Despite heavy rain, two Stevenage carers completed a five-hour walk to raise around £800 for charity.
To mark Carers Week 2024, the walk around Fairlands Valley Park Lake was organised by veteran carer, Norman Phillips.
Joining him was Elaine Sapstead, Mr Phillips' dog Bugle, charity staff, Barclays bank staff, health service representatives, and council members.
The event was the 10th Mr Phillips had staged.
He said: "I try and do what I can to help raise awareness about caring and the issues carers like me face and to support charities like Carers in Hertfordshire.
"It was a challenging day with the changing weather – rain, high winds and sunshine.
"However, carers are resilient and carry on caring during difficult times, so we braved the weather to complete the event.
"I was grateful to everyone who attended to show their support, it was a real morale booster.”
