A free skatepark event and a beach in the town centre are just two ways to occupy young people in Stevenage during the summer holidays.
From Saturday until September 1, Event Island's stage area will be turned into a beach for the summer holidays.
Remember to grab your bucket and spade before you head along there to work on your sandcastle skills.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, August 14, Stevenage Borough Council is holding a free event at Peartree Park's skatepark in Shephall.
Activities will include beginner inflatable ramps and giveaways.
The council's community events team will be welcoming residents who want to have a chat about topics affecting the area.
All ages are welcome, and remember to take your skateboard, roller skates, BMX, or any other wheels along with you.
