Hitchin's town ranger has won a prestigious award, being crowned as the best Ranger in the UK and Ireland.
Gavin Andic-Peden was recognised at an awards dinner last month.
The event was hosted by the UK and Ireland Association of Town Centre Managers.
Gavin's work involves being responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the town centre and working with local businesses, answering queries and making sure the area is clean and safe.

Tom Hardy, town centre manager at Hitchin Business Improvement District (BID), said: "This incredible achievement is a testament to Gavin's unwavering dedication, hard work and positive impact on our community.
"Gavin's relentless efforts in ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and vibrancy of Hitchin’s town centre have not gone unnoticed.
"His commitment to assisting visitors, supporting local businesses, and maintaining our public spaces has significantly contributed to the welcoming atmosphere of our beloved town."
Town rangers act as ambassadors for their towns, combining practical skills with customer service.
Tom added: "We are incredibly proud to have Gavin as part of our team and look forward to seeing his continued positive impact on Hitchin’s town centre."
