The former licensee of The Standing Order pub in Stevenage High Street is set to stand trial, accused of assault by beating.
Bradley Cartwright was arrested and charged following an incident in Park Place in Stevenage town centre in December last year.
Mr Cartwright, who is on bail, pleaded not guilty to the offence in February.
He was due to appear at Stevenage Magistrates' Court last week, and a hearing has been set for July 31.
Mr Cartwright was the designated premises supervisor for The Standing Order pub in Stevenage Old Town, until JD Wetherspoon plc replaced him in March.
