The gates to 23 picturesque gardens in Letchworth will be open to the public on Sunday, June 30.

The open day, part of the Letchworth Festival, lets nature lovers visit a range of gardens in the town, all varying in age, design and size.

Entry tickets are available from Bickerdikes Garden Centre and David's Bookshop for £10, giving access to all gardens, however tickets can be bought on the day at any participating garden.

Some gardens will offer tea, cakes, and toilet facilities, while certain gardens will also sell plants.

Proceeds from tickets, plant sales, and refreshments will go towards The British Red Cross and the Garden House Hospice.

A shuttle service is available for dropping people off at gardens along the route, but some may prefer to walk or cycle.

The event is open between 11am and 5pm.
