A steakhouse and cocktail bar in Stevenage will be closing its doors for the final time today (June 19).
Firejacks on Stevenage Leisure Park announced to customers yesterday that it will be permanently closing "after many wonderful years".
In an email, a spokesperson said: "We’re incredibly grateful for all the amazing memories and support you've given us over the years."
However, the unit will not remain empty for any length of time, with a Pan-Asian restaurant set to take over the premises.
Banana Tree will be offering salad bowls, soupy noodles, curries, regional specialties and more.
The Firejacks spokesperson said: "As one chapter closes, another exciting one begins. We’re thrilled to announce that our sister brand, Banana Tree, will be taking over, bringing a fresh and vibrant dining experience.
"Banana Tree offers a delightful Pan-Asian cuisine that we know you'll love. Whether you're a fan of spicy curries, fresh salads or savoury stir-fries, there’s something for everyone."
Last year, The Big Table Group - operator of Las Iguanas, Bella Italia, Banana Tree, Café Rouge and Amalfi - acquired The Restaurant Group’s leisure division, which included Firejacks.
