A construction firm based in Hitchin supported an "inclusive sports day", providing both sponsorship and volunteers to the event.
Willmott Dixon sent 11 team members to the Power House Games in Cambridge.
These games featured 12 teams competing in adapted sports.
Each team contained a member from Willmott Dixon, two students from Cambridge University Cricket Club, and three pupils from local schools.
At the event, run by charity Power2Inspire, team sports ranging from sitting netball to walking football were played.
Natalie Sidey from Willmott Dixon said: "It’s great for us, because at Willmott Dixon, we’re all about inclusion and diversity.
"It’s important that we actually have a break from the day job and get involved in something where we can see that we can make a difference."
