A careers fair for young people in Stevenage will be held on Wednesday.
The fair, called Generation Stevenage, will be held at Knebworth Barns from 9.30am until late.
It will provide the opportunity for young people to meet local employers from across a broad range of sectors, and discover the opportunities available to them in Hertfordshire.
Apprenticeships, work placements and jobs for graduates and school leavers will be showcased to more than 500 students aged 15 to 16.
Generation Stevenage is hosted by Hertfordshire Opportunities Portal, powered by Hertfordshire LEP, in partnership with the Stevenage Development Board.
Adrian Hawkins OBE, chair of Hertfordshire LEP Skills Advisory Panel and Stevenage Development Board, said: "The Generation careers fairs play a vital role in raising young people’s aspirations and ensuring they are best placed to seize the opportunities on their doorstep."
