June is set to see a raft of changes to bus timetables affecting passengers in Stevenage and North Hertfordshire.
Arriva's 100 and 101 routes between Stevenage and Luton are subject to the largest changes, with the 101 no longer calling at Little Wymondley. Instead, it will call at Little Wymondley by-pass.
The bus operator says that the changes will see up to four buses per hour between Stevenage and Luton, resulting in quicker journey times. Mondays to Saturdays will see additional evening services, at 8.45pm from Stevenage and 9.45pm from Luton.
On Mondays to Saturdays at peak times, a new 102 route will travel between Stevenage and Luton via Lilley.
Inside Stevenage, Arriva's SB1 route to Poplars will be operating under a revised timetable, with peak hour journeys to and from Gunnels Wood on Mondays to Saturdays being withdrawn.
The SB7 route from Stevenage to Great Ashby will also see "minor changes" to its Sunday timetable.
Additionally, Arriva's 301 service between Stevenage and St Albans and 725 service between Stevenage and Rickmansworth will see "minor" timetable changes aimed at improving punctuality.
Residents in Hitchin will also be affected by changes to two further routes.
Stagecoach's 9A/9B/9C/9D route between Bedford and Stevenage will now additionally call at Hitchin Hermitage Road when travelling towards Stevenage.
And, finally, Arriva's 97 service between Hitchin and Stotfold will see additional morning peak journeys for better connectivity with the railway, and there will also be an additional early evening service towards Stotfold.
All changes will take effect from Sunday, June 2.
