Seven Hertfordshire schools have been nominated in the 2024 national Tes awards.
The awards are open to both independent and state schools, and celebrate excellence in a range of categories.
Entries have now closed, with a ceremony taking place at the Grosvenor Hotel - in Park Lane, London - on Friday, June 21.
The Tes website states: "We want to say a big thank you to everyone who entered the Tes Schools Awards 2024, reading through the achievements of those shortlisted and those who narrowly missed out was inspirational!"
The Hertfordshire schools nominated in each category can be seen below.
- Haileybury, Hertford - Boarding School of the Year
- Birchwood Nursery School, Hatfield - Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Setting of the Year
- Woolenwick Infant and Nursery School, Stevenage - Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Setting of the Year
- Rickmansworth School, Croxley Green - Inclusive School of the Year, Pupil Mental Health Initiative of the Year
- Immanuel College, Bushey (Michael Lewis) - Subject Lead of the Year (Secondary)
- Haberdashers' Elstree Schools, Elstree - Community Engagement Initiative of the Year
- Peartree Spring Primary School, Stevenage - Community Engagement Initiative of the Year
