Street food business The Shack have given a behind the scenes look at their new Hitchin restaurant, which is set to open later this year.

Serving up burgers, chicken wings and tenders, grilled sandwiches and Sunday roasts, The Shack is taking over the Sun Street unit formerly home to Deroka.

The eatey already has two restaurants in Biggleswade and Barton, and there is plenty of excitement for the opening of their third site.

No official opening date has been announced, but in an Instagram post providing a behind the scenes look at their Hitchin restaurant, they revealed there have been a "whole load of setbacks".

"After months of planning and facing a whole load of setbacks, things are finally moving forward," the post reads.

"We’ve been raring to show you all the behind the scenes shots, so here’s a little glimpse. It’s all go, go, go and the graft is real.
