A pregnant woman is believed to have lost her baby after being seriously injured following a crash in Codicote.
The incident happened shortly before 10pm on Wednesday, May 1, in Codicote Road.
Two vehicles were involved - a red Fiat 500 and a silver Ford Fiesta - with two people in the Ford taken to hospital, where they are now recovering from serious injuries.
Sadly, one of the people involved, a pregnant woman, is believed to have lost her baby following the collision.
"We are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to please get in touch," said Sergeant Tim Davies, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit.
"Very sadly, one of the people taken to hospital was a pregnant lady and it is believed the injuries have caused the loss of her baby. Our thoughts are with her at this difficult time.
"Were you driving in the area? Did you see the collision or the vehicles involved? Please get in touch if you can help.
