Preston Primary School showcased their spirit of athleticism and community at the TSC London mini marathon on Saturday (April 27).
A number of the village school's enthusiastic students eagerly participated in the 1-mile/2.6km race, tracing the iconic London course that commenced from Horse Guards Parade, winding past Buckingham Palace, and culminating triumphantly at The Mall.
A spokesperson for the school said: "Our heartfelt congratulations extend to all the participants for their remarkable efforts, to the resilient young athletes for their perseverance, and a special commendation to our very own PSA Faye Frost for her instrumental role in orchestrating this remarkable event."
Not only did each child showcase their sporting prowess, but they also raised £10 each, a total of £270, to support the school's library project or to purchase sports equipment.
Each child received a well-earned medal for their participation.
