Hitchin's Greggs store will be closed until next month, with a refurbishment taking place.
A notice in the window of the High Street site confirmed the popular bakery would be closed from Sunday, April 21.
Doors will reopen in a little more than a month, with Greggs "looking forward to seeing customers" again on Saturday, May 25.
The store has been Greggs since around 2009, when it took over from the Bakers Oven and made a number of changes to the unit.
Very little has changed since then, and the bakery chain will be hoping the refurbishments provide the site with a fresh new look.
