Two men have been seriously injured after a shooting in Arlesey on Tuesday (April 9).
Officers were called to Woodview Lodge in Hitchin Road between 9.40pm and 10pm, following reports of a firearm being discharged.
One man in his 20s and another in his 30s, are both currently being treated in hospital for serious injuries, although these are not believed to be life-threatening.
Bedfordshire Police have stepped up their presence in the area through proactive patrols, and want to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information.
"We would particularly like to identify the users of a grey or silver five-door Mercedes C or E class that was seen in the area at the time of the offence," said Detective Inspector Scott Fowler, of Bedfordshire Police’s specialist Boson Gangs and Guns Unit.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police via 101, Beds Police's webchat service or online reporting tool at www.beds.police.uk/ro/report, quoting Operation Tonbury.
