The Bowman's Mill site in Ickleford is up for sale after planning permission was granted for up to 71 new homes on the site.

The former flour mill closed in 2016, and although developers proposed the application in 2017, plans were only approved by North Herts Council last month.

Now, the 9.17 acre site is up for sale, having been listed on the market by estate agents Savills.

Under the terms of the outline planning permission, the new properties would be made up of two and three-bedroom apartments and three and four-bedroom houses.

Several redundant buildings including siloes, sheds and office space would also be demolished.
