Delays on the A1(M)'s northbound carriageway have continued, with "immediate repairs" causing the closure of one lane.
This morning (Friday, March 23), motorists have experienced setbacks of 20 minutes between junctions 6 and 7.
Drivers have been advised to allow extra time for their journeys.
The works began at around 5.15pm on Tuesday (March 19), with a "carriageway defect" cited as the cause.
Investigations have since been ongoing, with a full carriageway closure taking place on Wednesday night (March 20).
