Lister Hospital has warned patients to leave earlier for appointments amid road closures.
This morning (February 17), Lister Hospital issued the advice after roadworks were confirmed by Hertfordshire Highways.
In a post to social media, the hospital said: “Our partners Hertfordshire Highways and Hertfordshire County Council have announced that from today there will be road closures taking place at the Graveley Road and North Road T-junction, going down North Road until Gate 6 of Lister Hospital.

“Please note that Gate 6 can still be accessed via Coreys Mill Lane.
“Please allow extra time to arrive for appointments.”
Hertfordshire County Council’s safety works at the junction of B197 Graveley Road and North Road to improve visibility begin today and are set to last until the end of May.
According to One Network, the full closure is expected to be in place until April 19.
The hospital added that anyone with questions or concerns can call 0300 123 4047 or email ATFConsultation@hertfordshire.gov.uk.
North Road has also been the site of phased road closures as part of the county council’s active travel fund project since last summer, which are set to be completed this month.
It is creating a segregated two-way cycle track on North Road and installing other improvements such as new crossings. Closures for the active travel project are being coordinated with other works.
