The event, organised by Letchworth BID, took place in Leys Square from 11am on Pancake Day, Tuesday, February 13.
Pans and pancakes were provided, and prizes will be provided for the winners.
A spokesperson for Letchworth BID, also known as Love Letchworth, said: "What a flippin’ great morning the town had at the Letchworth Pancake Race.
"This was the second year that Love Letchworth has organised a town centre pancake race and it did not disappoint.
"Crowds of people turned up in their running shoes to race, while lots of passersby cheered them on.
