It may be one of their more unusual calls, but firefighters from Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service jumped into action to ensure Reggie was rescued from the car in no time at all.
They were called shortly before 1.30pm on Thursday, February 8, by Reggie's owner.
One fire engine was swiftly despatched from Hitchin fire station, with the firefighters able to use their tools to help Reggie out of the car and back into the arms of his grateful owner.
