January is set to see a number of changes to bus routes in Stevenage and North Herts come into effect.
From Sunday, January 7, Centrebus's 80 route between Stevenage and Hitchin will change slightly for most journeys. Buses will be re-rerouted via Nightingale Road between Hitchin railway station and the town centre.
From the same day, Uno's 635 route between Hatfield and Hitchin will see changes to the timetable and route. When travelling in Stevenage towards Hitchin, it will go via St Georges Way and Fairlands Way between North Hertfordshire College and the Stevenage Bus Interchange.
Two further changes affecting passengers in Stevenage and North Herts will come into effect from Monday, January 8.
The 383/384 Central Connect route between Hertford and Stevenage will be operating a revised timetable, with the Friday-only journey from the John Henry Newman School no longer made. All 383 services will be re-routed via Aston, while additional Saturday morning and evening buses will run between Watton-at-Stone and Stevenage.
Finally, the timing of one 386 Central Connect service between Stevenage and Bishop's Stortford will change slightly. The 3.45pm bus on school days from Birchwood School in Bishop's Stortford will run earlier, to match school finishing times. There are no other changes to the service or to those operated by Richmond's coaches.
