A popular coffee shop and tapas bar in Shefford has changed hands after seven years.
The Loft, on Northbridge Street, first opened in October 2013 and has been run by mother and daughter duo Wendy and Hannah since December 2017.
Wendy had worked with The Loft for several years before becoming part of the management team, and aimed to retain its "day-one values" of providing fresh and locally-sourced food "with a smile".
But, in a statement published earlier this week on social media, Wendy and Hannah said that there is a "new era pending" for the eatery, as they hand over to a new management team.
They wrote: "It’s been a wonderful seven years. And more than the coffee, cake, cocktails and tapas; we’ve loved making so many special friends - both in our team and in our guests.
"We’re proud to have steered The Loft through many ups and downs. But, it’s time for a new beginning. This is not a goodbye but a ‘see you soon’.
"We’ll leave the new folks in charge to introduce themselves."
The Loft remains open for coffee, breakfast, lunch and tapas.
