Herts Highways said this morning that the road was still closed between Stevenage and Watton At Stone, but confirmed this afternoon that it had reopned.
"The A602 has opened between Stevenage and Watton at Stone.," read a social media post.
This story previously stated that the road had reopened. This was information provided to us by Hertfordshire Constabulary, which proved to be incorrect.
