A fallen tree has blocked the A1000 Welwyn Bypass Road as wind, rain and flooding hits Hertfordshire.
The incident took place prior to 4.23pm this afternoon (Tuesday, January 2), when the police were called.
The tree is currently blocking the road, and officers have urged motorists to use an alternative route where possible.

A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: "Police received a report of a tree blocking Welwyn Bypass Road at around 4.32pm today (Tuesday 2 January).
"The tree is currently blocking the road, and motorists are urged to seek an alternative route where possible. "
