In Stevenage Old Town, a Nissan Navara has been broken into and equipment stolen from within.
The incident took place in High Street between 6.30pm and 8pm on Tuesday, November 14.
Electrical and thermal imaging equipment was taken, leading Hertfordshire police to appeal for information.
PC Denis Wisniewski said: "Our enquiries are continuing, and I am appealing for anyone with information to please get in touch.
“If you saw what happened or witnessed anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time, please email me at denis.wisniewski@herts.police.uk.”
