The family of a little girl who died earlier this year have raised £5,000 in her memory for the Magic of Play Garden Appeal at Stevenage's Lister Hospital.
Thea Harris, who attended Letchmore Infants' and Nursery School in Stevenage, was born with a rare genetic condition called alagille syndrome.
It meant her heart, liver and kidneys were malformed and did not work as a healthy child's.
Thea, who was unable to walk unaided, spent a lot of time on the children's ward at Lister Hospital.
She died in July, aged just five.
Thea's family have now raised £5,000 for the East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals' Charity, to help create an engaging outdoor space for all children on Lister's Bluebell Ward, including those with sensory and complex needs.

A spokesperson for the charity said: "Family and friends have all donated, organised events and fundraised in Thea's memory.
"We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to the lovely Harris family and to everyone who supported their fundraising.
"You have helped us move a step closer to making our garden project a reality for children being cared for on Bluebell Ward."
