Police investigating a burglary in Letchworth have released images of jewellery stolen, in the hope the items can be found and returned to their owner.
While the victim was away between October 20 and 22, her home in Bell Acre was broken into via a window at the back of the house.
When the woman entered her home, she noticed it had been left in a messy state with lots of jewellery missing, including brooches.
Detective Constable Sophie Dinak-Martin, who is investigating, said: "We have been investigating a number of lines of enquiry in relation to this burglary, and we recently acquired images of some of the items stolen, so we have chosen to release these to the public as part of our enquiries.
"I am hoping someone will recognise this jewellery – perhaps you have been offered it for sale, or have seen it advertised on a local selling website?
"If you have any information or footage to assist our investigation, please contact me via sophie.dinak-martin@herts.police.uk."
