A man in his 50s was "seriously injured" after reportedly being hit by a van in Baldock yesterday (Thursday, November 30).
The incident occurred shortly before 5pm on London Road in Baldock, close to the junction with Templar Avenue.
The ambulance service and police were called to reports that a pedestrian had been hit by a van.

An ambulance, ambulance officer vehicle and response car from Magpas Air Ambulance all attended the scene, and took the pedestrian by road to Lister Hospital in Stevenage "for further assessment and treatment".
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire police, who also attended the scene, said that the pedestrian was "seriously injured".
Road closures were put in place while police dealt with the incident and arranged recovery for the silver Ford Transit van.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire police told the Comet that there will be no further investigation into the incident.
