Two teenage boys had their clothes and shoes stolen by masked men as they walked home from Stevenage Leisure Park on Saturday night.

The boys, aged 16 and 17, were walking along the cycle path on Fairlands Way and into Bedwell Crescent sometime between 11.20pm and 11.40pm when they were approached by two black men reported to be wearing balaclavas and dark clothing.

The men demanded the boys hand over some of their clothing and possessions, including their shoes, bags and phones, and one of them is reported to have produced a knife.

The offenders then walked away in the direction of Fairlands Way.

Investigating officer DC Chris Jones said: "We are interested in hearing from anyone who was in this area at the time and may have seen the robbery or witnessed the offenders prior to it.

"Neither of the victims were harmed in any way, so it could be that you witnessed the incident without realising what was going on, or saw someone hanging around in the area, or even following the boys?"
