Question Time will be broadcast from Stevenage today (Thursday, November 23) - and the panel has just been announced.

Four panellists will be joining Fiona Bruce on the popular BBC One show that travels around the country to put questions from members of the public to well-known figures from politics and the media.

Representing the government on the show will be Andrew Griffith, Conservative MP for Arundel and South Downs, and currently minister for science, innovation and technology.

He was previously economic secretary to the Treasury but was moved in the recent reshuffle - with Hitchin and Harpenden MP Bim Afolami replacing him in that role.

Facing Mr Griffith will be Alison McGovern, Labour MP for Wirral South and currently shadow employment minister. She also served as shadow economic secretary to the Treasury, during Ed Miliband's leadership of the party.

Alongside the party representatives will be Patrick Grant, a fashion designer, and Isabel Oakeshott, a journalist.

Mr Grant founded an ethical clothing brand called Community Clothing, and has been a judge on The Great British Sewing Bee.

Ms Oakeshott is international editor at Talk TV, and was formerly political editor of the Sunday Times. She also co-wrote Matt Hancock's Pandemic Diaries.

Today's show will be the first time Question Time has come to Stevenage since April 2010, shortly before a general election.

The panellists on that occasion were Alan Johnson, Kenneth Clarke, Sarah Teather, Richard Littlejohn and Victoria Coren (now Victoria Coren-Mitchell).

The Stevenage episode of Question Time will be broadcast live on BBC iPlayer at 8pm today, with the recording following on BBC One at 10.40pm.
