A man has been charged with murder after a woman's body was found in North Hertfordshire.
Victoria Greenwood, who had been reported missing, was found dead in a small car park between Roe Green and Wallington at around 8pm on Tuesday, November 14.
She had last been seen in Luton on November 10.
Robert Brown, 38, from Hitchin Road in Luton, has been charged with Ms Greenwood's murder after the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire (BCH) Major Crime Unit opened an investigation.
He is now in police custody and due to appear at Luton Magistrates' Court today (Monday, November 20).
Detective Inspector Justine Jenkins, from the BCH Major Crime Unit, said: “We have specially trained officers supporting Victoria’s family at this most difficult time.”
She added: “I’d like to thank members of the public who have called us with information.”
Herts police had appealed for witnesses who may have seen a "distinctive" white Ford Fiesta with blue stripes being driven in the Cat Ditch Road area on the evening that the woman's body was found.
