A man from Whitwell in North Hertfordshire has thanked Herts police officers who helped him after he was targeted by a rogue trader.
Earlier this year, Don reported a rogue trader who had taken payment from him, but not carried out the work that had been agreed upon.
Police officers tracked the man down and arrested him. He was given a conditional caution which required him to repay the money he had been paid by Don.

PC Natasha Redman and PCSO Heather Burrows held a police surgery in Whitwell on Saturday, November 11, to discuss local issues with residents.
Don attended the surgery and took the opportunity to thank them both for their help in ensuring he is repaid the money that was taken from him.
He said: “It was great that you caught him, but even better to get my money back, I can’t thank you enough.”
