Stevenage Borough Council has launched consultations on three proposed developments in the town.
Housing developments have been proposed in Ellis Avenue, The Oval and Cartref, and a number of consultation events will be taking place.
The purpose of the developments, according to the local authority, is to combat homelessness in the area.
Deputy leader of Stevenage Borough Council, Cllr Jeannette Thomas, said: "We are working hard to combat homelessness in Stevenage, there is a high number of people waiting for properties on our council housing register, hence the reason for schemes consisting of mixed tenure properties.
“These consultations help us to engage with the local community.

"They’re extremely important and ensure the developments we build incorporate your views and expectations while fitting seamlessly into the surroundings.
"Please submit your ideas and tell us how you feel about these schemes.”
The three proposals can be seen below:
Ellis Avenue
Plans in Ellis Avenue would see maisonettes in Ellis Avenue transformed into 11 one and two-bedroom flats.
According to the council, the current properties at 22-24 Ellis Avenue "are of a standard that do not meet modern expectations of high quality housing".
An online survey will run until Saturday (November 18).

The Oval
The fourth and final round of consultation is under way for "a large neighbourhood regeneration scheme" at The Oval, in the Martins Ward area of the town.
Stevenage Borough Council has previously indicated that the regeneration "would include new public space, shops, housing, a community centre and a church", and that it aims "to provide high quality housing, retail and community facilities".
An online survey will run until next Saturday (November 25), and a drop-in session is being held at The Oval Community Centre, between 10am and 1pm on Saturday (November 18).
Cartref
A plan for 38 new homes off Clovelly Way has been drawn up, including 24 three and four-bed houses and 12 one and two-bed flats.
The council says the proposed scheme will be a mixed development of private sale housing and affordable accommodation which will be retained by the local authority, but that "the final mix has yet to be determined".
An online survey will run until December 8, while a consultation event will take place next Thursday (November 23) at Symonds Green Community Centre.
Another will take place on December 1, with both running from 3pm until 7pm.
