A woman's purse has been stolen during a distraction theft in Stevenage's Primark.
The incident took place at around 12.30pm on Tuesday (October 24), in the Queensway store.
At that time, a purse was taken out of the bag of a shopper and the cards used to purchase items in other stores in the town.
Hertfordshire police have now released an image of a woman, who they believe was in the area at the time.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: "We believe the woman in the photo was in the area at the time and may have information which could help our investigation.
"If you recognise her please report information by calling our non-emergency telephone number 101."
