Police are investigating an altercation between a group of men outside shops in Stevenage, that reportedly involved a knife.
The incident outside The Glebe shops on Chells Way happened at around 6.30pm on Sunday.
It is reported that there was an altercation between a group of men and it is alleged that a knife was seen.
Detective Constable Lomax, who is investigating, said: "We believe that there were several people passing by the area at the time of the altercation and would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident to contact us.
"We take knife crime seriously and will not allow this type of behaviour to go unchallenged in our community."
