Drivers are being warned to avoid Bancroft today (Thursday, October 12) because of an earlier road traffic collision.
Hertfordshire police were called to the scene at around 3.54pm today, and closed the road at around 4.20pm.
Two vehicles were reportedly involved, a van and a VW Golf. Recovery has been arranged for the van.
An ambulance also attended the scene and assessed two patients, neither of whom required hospital treatment.
At around 4.30pm, North Herts Police posted on social media to inform drivers that the road has been closed and they should seek alternative routes.

Emergency services are currently attending the scene, and there is no estimated time for the road to reopen.
We have contacted the East of England Ambulance Service for comment.
