Police have released CCTV images of three people they would like to identify following a stabbing in Letchworth which left a man with serious injuries.
The incident occurred at around 6.50pm on Monday, June 26, on Norton Common in Icknield Way.
It is reported that a man was approached by a group of people before being stabbed in the groin.
Members of the public and an off-duty police officer helped to provide first aid at the scene, before the victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He has since made a recovery.
Five people – two aged 16, two aged 18 and one aged 19 – were arrested in connection with the incident and have since been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
DC Beth Talbot, from the North Herts Local Crime Unit, said: "Our investigation is progressing and several arrests have already been made.
"We would still like to hear from anyone with information though and, in particular, there are three people who we would still like to speak to. We are releasing their images now because we believe they were in the area at the time and could have information to assist our enquiries.
"Is this you, or do you know the people pictured? Please email me at beth.talbot@herts.police.uk with any information, no matter how small or insignificant you think it may be."
