A woman has reportedly been racially abused while jogging in a Stevenage park.
The woman was in St Nicholas Park at 1.50pm on Thursday, September 14, when a light brown dog appeared and scared her.
The dog's owner called it back, but when it looked like it was going to approach the woman again, she began to film the dog on her phone.
It was at that point that the man was reportedly racially abusive towards her.
He is described as being white, aged in his 50s, about 5ft 9in tall and of stocky build, with balding, short grey hair. At the time, he was wearing a blue shirt, jeans and sunglasses.
PC Amy Hunter, investigating, said: “I’d like to hear from anyone who recognises the man in the image as he is believed to have been in the area at the time of the incident and could be able to assist with enquiries.
