A number of two and three-bedroom council apartments are set to be completed in the Symonds Green area of Stevenage this week.
Construction of the dwellings in Helston House in Scarborough Avenue began in 2019 before "significant challenges" were brought about by the global pandemic and disruptions to the industry supply chain.
However, Stevenage Borough Council have confirmed that a final handover will take place this week.

A community open day was held at the location recently - where councillors and residents were able to view the new build.
"State of the art" sustainability technology has been used within the building, including onsite green energy generation through "photo voltaic panels enhanced building fabric insulation", triple glazing, grey water heat recovery, LED lighting and a commitment to zero gas.
Hoarding - in place during the site's construction - was designed by the teachers and children of Woolenwick Primary School.
After visiting earlier this year, they also designed drawings that will adorn he corridors of Helston House.
Councillor Jeannette Thomas said: "We’re building back better and greener and this development is a fantastic example of 29 one, two and three bedroom apartments all allocated for council rent.
“It has been designed and built with the ambition of helping to reduce the ongoing carbon footprint."
