For the 19th consecutive year, a charity bike ride has raised thousands for Garden House Hospice Care.

Kerry's Annual Charity Bike Ride, organised by Kerry Golds, raised £9,533.66 for the Letchworth-based hospice, bringing the total over the years up to more than £51,000.

Starting and finishing at the George and Dragon pub in Graveley, the 30-mile bike ride attracted 160 cyclists of all abilities and ages.

Kerry wrote on the event's Facebook page: "I cannot thank [everyone] enough. You were all just amazing and all had smiles despite how busy it was. Months of planning all paid off.

"Thanks for all the support, donations and everyone who took part."

The event was followed by an afternoon of family fun, with a bouncy castle, a barbecue, live music and a raffle.
