An ambulance was involved in a collision on Wednesday, September 6, in an incident that has been linked to yesterday's closure of Lytton Way in Stevenage.
Herts police were called at 6.31pm on Wednesday to reports of a collision on the roundabout above junction seven of the A1(M), close to Stevenage's industrial estate.
Two vehicles were involved - the ambulance and a green Mercedes.
The Mercedes and its driver left the scene, and police "enquiries are ongoing" as they try to track down the driver.
Recovery was arranged for the ambulance.

A spokesperson for Herts police confirmed to the Comet that the incident is linked to yesterday's closure of Lytton Way.
The road was closed until 7pm on Thursday following an incident, also at around 6.30pm on Wednesday, during which a handgun was reportedly seen and a man was left with "serious" injuries.
