A woman has been arrested after allegedly attempting to leave the scene of a multi-car pile-up in Arlesey on Friday, September 1.
Officers from Bedfordshire Police were called to the scene in Church Lane at around 9.50pm on Friday and, according to a police spokesperson, they found that "a car had collided with a number of vehicles and the driver attempted to flee the scene".

A woman in her 30s was subsequently arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and leaving the scene of a collision.
She has been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
