A garage in Hitchin is preparing to move to new premises after spending 32 years in its current location.

Auto Service & Tuning Centre | Bosch Car Service has been operating from 91A Bedford Road for longer than three decades, but is relocating to enable a significant expansion of the business.

Its new location, at 42 Wilbury Way in Hitchin, will allow them to expand their capacity, hire more staff, maintain a larger car park, and improve turnaround times for servicing and repair jobs.

The garage was previously home to Top Marques garage, which closed recently. Staff from Top Marques have been offered the opportunity to continue working at the site.

Mark Scott, who founded Top Marques, added: “We fully endorse Auto Service & Tuning and will be using them to maintain our own vehicles in the future.”

In addition to offering services and repairs for petrol and diesel cars, Auto Service & Tuning Centre is a Bosch-approved electric vehicle centre and can provide services and repairs for both electric and hybrid cars.

A date for the opening of the premises at 42 Wilbury Way is yet to be announced.
