Road closures will be put in place for a section of Lytton Way in Stevenage while resurfacing works are carried out.

From today (August 29) to September 9, Hertfordshire Highways is carrying out maintenance works on Lytton Way, between the Trinity Road roundabout and the Fairlands Way roundabout, "to maintain and improve the old road surface", it said.

The maintenance works will include renewing the old road surface, adjusting drain covers and frames, refreshing the road markings, reinstating the road studs, improving the bridge joint and cleaning the drains.

From today until Thursday, Lytton Way will be closed eastbound, between the Trinity Road roundabout and Fairlands Way roundabout, from 8pm to 5am. 

From Thursday until Saturday, the Lytton Way/Fairlands Way roundabout will be closed from 10pm to 5am.

From Sunday until Monday, eastbound Lytton Way/Fairlands Way will be closed from 8pm to 5am.

From Monday until Wednesday (September 6), westbound Lytton Way/Fairlands Way will be closed from 8pm to 5am.
